Indeed a Small World!

OMG!  I can’t believe I forgot to mention this.

I was at Phoon Huat Hougang Specialty Branch yesterday evening after work, and was there for about 1 hour, I think.  It was crowded on and off, with students from the afternoon class shopping for some baking products and students going for the evening class turning up early.

Pretty chaotic for such a small shop.

But that’s not what I wanted to talk about.  During the chaos, suddenly a piece of paper which one of the lady patron was holding caught my eye.  From the corner of my eye, I thought the picture on the paper looked familiar and couldn’t resist taking a second look.

Hey, that’s the picture of the chocolate chip muffins I baked for my mum last week.  And that lady actually printed out that particular whole post!  I suppose she wants to try baking some of those over the weekend.  Good luck and have fun!

To that particular lady, I’m sorry I didn’t walk over to say hi (which The Hubby said I should have done).  I’m a rather reserved person, and it is very difficult for me to walk up to strangers. :)

It’s just SO amazing how small the world really really is.

  1. wow CY, its indeed a small world! i’m sure you were pleasantly suprised, no? :p but well, if it were me, i won’t go up and say hi too. very shy lah. moreover, i don’t want her to gimme a look as if to say “sure or not its you?!” LOL

  2. Hi Evan,

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised, but frankly I was quite taken aback as well. I guess I’m just so amazed that there are actually readers out there who are going to try some of my insane experiments.

And ya! I definitely agree with you on the last statement!

  3. DWO

you should have said hi to her lahhh…

  4. And Mr DWO, you know me lah…

I hate social events. Asking me to go up to a total stranger to say hi? Very very tough. Unless I’m intoxicated! Hahah! :D
