Party Pastries
*DRRRRRRRRUMROLL PLEASESSSSS*
Ladies and gentlemen, here’s presenting the fruit tarts and choux pastry I baked for my nephew’s birthday part…

- A total of 32 fruit tarts and 42 cream puff shells -
It does look like quite a massive project isn’t it?
Frankly, it isn’t that bad; it’s just awfully time consuming considering that it’s a one-man operation and I only have one mid-size oven. Helps to cut down some time since I’m rather familiar with the recipes and processes which follow. After all, I have baked choux pastry a couple of times in the past week, and the fruit tarts were what I baked during my first pastry class. I hope I have done justice to my wonderful instructors at my baking class.
All right, I’ve had quite enough of choux pastry to last me for a while. I doubt I’ll be going back to bake it again in the near future, unless there are special requests from family or friends.
Time to move on to other stuff now… mooncakes perhaps, since Mid-Autumn Festival is just around the corner (6th Oct to be exact).

Good Morning Missy
You are making me very “jealous” and hungry here.
Yum yum, when is it my turn?
Luv
Auntie S
Good evening, Auntie S…
You are hooked on being my auntie is it?
I thought you were only Auntie S to my furkids?
Tell me when we can meet up and I’ll bake some of the chocolate éclairs. Only for you.
the choux pastry with strawberries look so pretty! so romantic looking too…suitable for valentines day :p
Thanks Evan for your kind words!
It was really hard work on my part. I doubt I want to do it again.
Yeah… come to think of it, it looks really sweet with the strawberries.
Idea!
