Thousand Apologies

Hi folks,

I’m sorry I’ve been missing in action for quite a while.  I’ve been swarmed at work my head is barely above the waters currently.  To make matters worse, I’ve been feeling under the weather in general, no thanks to The Hubby, who had spread his cough and sore throat to me promptly after he got better.

I need to get my act together before venturing into the kitchen to start baking again.  Another week or so, I promise.

Please forgive me because I hadn’t been answering emails or comments.

As for the various requests I received regarding the recipe for the Jelly Hearts, I’m afraid I can’t share the recipe as the lady who invented it (Ms Valarie Kong) is currently still conducting lessons using this recipe in various CCs and clubs.

I’ll update again with the latest news on where and when she will be conducting classes for the jelly hearts.

Take care…

  5. Belle - I buy my piping tips from Phoon Huat. Hope it helps.

Evan - Sorry for my belated reply. I won’t recommend #1 (Lovers in Prague - think the production is really low budget), #3 (Memories of Bali - I hate the show, first watched it in Seoul in Nov 2004, weird plot), #17 (Sorry I Love You - another unimpressive drama) and #19 (A Love to Kill - not a big fan of Rain, and the drama is way over-rated just because Rain is in it). I’ve watched bits of all 4 of them on SCV. Didn’t like them at all.

Personally I have and watched #12 (My 19 Year Old SIL), #15 (Wonderful Life) and #20 (Only You). #12 and #20 are nice, but rather forgettable. #15 is very nice, in my opinion. I’ve watched it 3 times, I think. :P

I have #25 (Love Story in Harvard) and #26 (Stained Glass), but haven’t had the time to catch up on the ‘backlots’ I have. My hubby likes Love Story in Harvard, although it didn’t looked very nice, from what little I caught on SCV 55 once in a while.

#6 (Marrying a Millionaire) is so-so. Not a must-watch. #8 (My Girl) has some very good reviews but I think it will be on TV soon. Not sure if it’s Channel 55 or Channel U though. Seems like #18 (Damo) and #22 (Fashion 70s) have good reviews too, especially #22.

I’ve also watched bits of #24 (Sad Love Story) and #27 (Oh! Pil Seung, BSY). Tempted to buy #24 because of the music and piano-playing, but decided against it because it follows the usual Korean soap-opera formula. I’m neutral to #27.

There are some new shows which my sis claims to be very good. One is ‘Which Star are you from?’ My sis borrowed ours and finished it. I haven’t had the time to start watching though. The other two are ‘Spring Waltz’ and ‘I Really Really Like You’.

    Hope it helps.
