It’s the time of the year again… for sharing and giving. Are you done with your X’mas shopping yet?  Or still trying to cramp some last minute shopping these last 5 days?

I believe this will be the first time I’ll be out of town for Christmas since the trip to the States with my parents and sis when I was 11.  It was a last minute decision, and one I no doubt am grateful for.  I have been so worn out at work I really need a break to recharge.  Although I would have preferred travelling to Finland or Italy, both The Hubby and myself can’t be absent from work for that long enough.  Hence we settled for Taipei.  Just don’t ask how much it costs us.  It was a last-minute and it won’t be cheap, considering that 80% of Singaporeans were also thinking along the same line, making full use of the long weekend for a short breakaway.

There won’t be any baking or updates for a while, until the end of the year, that is.  I will be making time for some baking during the long New Year weekend.
