Happy New Year, my friends!
So, how did you spend the long weekend that just passed us by so quickly? I mentioned in the previous post that I wanted to catch up on my baking and stuff. And I really had plans to bake some cupcakes, cookies and cakes.
However, I spend the long weekend in the hospital (over a minor ailment), explaining why there aren’t any new posts. I’m none the worse now… well, perhaps a little guilty for making empty promises yet again.
Since The Hubby had insisted that I leave the baking till the coming weekend, I can only leave you folks with a picture of the new baking books I bought from my Taipei trip. I can’t wait to try out some of the interesting recipes in these books.
Gotta go and have an early night’s sleep now…
many of these books can be found in sg too. i’ve got a few of the titles in your picture. but i’m sure it’s much cheaper in taiwan. enjoy your baking.
Heh, thanks for the helpful info, Cat. I’m sure my hubby wouldn’t be too pleased to hear that he lugged back books that can be found in SG.
