More Pics of my Pineapple Tarts
February 11th, 2007 at 9:18pm |
I promise this will be the last of any post on pineapple tarts. For this year, that is. I just can’t resist posting up these 2 pics after a massive baking project over the weekend.

Rows and rows of piping hot tarts cooling on the rack after removing from the oven.

Into the tubs they go!
I am halfway through fulfilling the orders I’ve received from family and colleagues. Just a little more, and I can say bye to pineapple tarts, that is, till next year’s CNY.

Wow!! Hang on there, I can’t wait to say bye bye to pineapple tarts too, want to make something else. Btw, you may want to consider getting the pineapple tart mould that I use, once it’s season it’s really good to use.
Heh I’ve seen the wonderful-looking tarts you’ve made too! Somehow I don’t like the prints that the interesting mould you have create, so I think I might just give it a miss.
Or do they have moulds with prints like the one I’m using?
Wow, your tarts look really nice and expensive (so much pineapple looking) yum yum.
I remember when I was young i use to help my mum prepare the paste…After chopping 100 over pineapples and frying them, my hands were screaming our for help. As my mom says putting the pineapple into the grinder will result in sub-quality paste.
Well, if you are taking order next year, i will order from you.
Cheers
Swannie
your prints are very defined! so pretty!!!! wish i have ur standard.
hi, i think it’s very weird of you to just post some major ingredients of the recipe and just the ingredients but not steps of the pineapple jam. in that case, why do you even bother at all? i don’t think it’s very necessary to do that. i seriously don’t understand why you posted part of it only. either the full thing or nothing. so weird.
Kindly refer to her post on why she post only part of the recipe. Some people believe in ethics.
hi moomoo, think u also weird ah.. if u are like me or anyone here who is into baking, then u should b able to make the paste with only the ingredients since its simple bakin steps.
anyway just in case u r a newbie, i shall write for u though i think its weird.. hehehe : p
1)buy pineapple
2)grate pineapple
3)put pineapple into wok/pot to cook
4)till your liking, add spices/rock sugar
5)cook till dry/till your liking
6)YOU ARE READY!!!!!!
weird right??? simple steps AH!!
to those oldbies, please correct me if i am wrong!
This is not weird but ethical. Very generous of her to give an idea of what the basic ingredients are.
Wow. The amount of pineapple filling is generous. The biscuit looks really yummy too.
