Cupcake Bundle Set

I have been indulging in some quality baking equipment and ingredients recently.  After attending the Cupcakes Workshop at Shermay Cooking School, I bought this cupcake bundle set (which sets me back by $89.00).  It consists of a cool Cuisipro Deluxe Batter Bowl, Cuisipro Silicone Whisk, Cuisipro Silicone Spatula, 50 regular and 50 mini cupcake cases, 2 boxes of Decorating Sugars and 200g of Valrhona Cocoa Powder.

Apparently, all the items cost $120 if you buy them separately… and the bundle set is only available to attendees of the Cupcake Workshop on the day of their class.

I was and never have been a huge fan of silicone products, but I just cannot pass up a good offer when I see one.  And since I’m getting the bundle, might as well get them in the colours that I like (hence the blue whisk and spatula).  I like colour-coordinating my things when I have the luxury and liberty to do so.

The batter bowl and whisk were first used when I baked the chocolate cupcakes and although I can’t totally say that I’m a silicone convert now, I dare say I am beginning to appreciate its merits.  And oh, I’m so in love with the Cuisipro Deluxe Batter Bowl!  So much so that I’ve asked the hubby for permission to get another one (priced at $43.95!).  Actually ‘asking for permission’ isn’t really accurate, what I’m trying to do is to hint for him to get the second batter bowl for me.

And, I am seriously thinking of getting a KitchenAid ahead of when I’ve planned to purchase it initially.  The Tefal mixer is increasingly showing its limitations as I gradually proceed to more challenging recipes.

I say, you go girl, get the kitchenAid. It’s worth every penny. I have a red one and it stands proudly in my kitchen.

  5. Elyn, yes, THE bowl. So, are you tempted to succumb to the temptation yet? Ya… the KitchenAid is my dream machine too. Have contemplated for so long, but now that I\’ve received my not-too-bad bonus, I am definitely going ahead with the purchase!

Evan, which part of the bundle set do you like? Or do you like everything? Haha… I can get the bundle set for you if you like, since I\’m attending the 2nd workshop tomorrow, and I\’m sure the offer is still valid.  And yes, KitchenAid comes with the pasta-making attachment.  Go to www.mayer.com.sg and take a look.  They are the authorised dealer of KitchenAid in Singapore.

pinkconfetti, glad you\’re finally connected with Valerie! The peanut butter cookies are my personal favourite too!

Thanks, Lay Lian, for the vote of confidence. I AM going ahead to get one… probably in white. :)

  6. u changed yr layout! but its like quite jumbled when i view yr blog using IE. the flickr cube was right smack at the middle and blocking the words. had to use firefox instead.

im juz kidding lah, i don’t want the bundle set. even tho’ its $89 but still ex leh. i hv everything i need in the bundle set (except the cupcake cases). thx for offering tho’.

oh so the kitchenAid REALLY comes with the pasta attachment. yay!! ok then it gives me one more excuse to buy that haha. then again, can only make lasagne or spaghetti out of it, what if we want those shapes like fusilli or conchiglione?

  7. Hi Evan,

It’s really been a long while since you blogged.

Thanks for letting me know about the jumbled layout. I think it has got to do with the fact that this template uses fluid sidebars.

And dear… you know you can’t make fusilli or conchiglione with a pasta maker.

    Hi Cadenze,

Could you share wif me how much did u pay for the pink kitchenAid. Am interested to learn to make cupcakes but it is essential to purchase this equipment for a beginner like me?
